Possible Spring Stock Boosters: 2021
We are less than 30 days from the first live period of the AAU season. With that being said, we’re going to spend some time looking at prospects from DC, Maryland, and Virginia in the 2019, 2020 and 2021 class over the next few weeks, and give you some names to look out for as we dive into what should be another hectic spring. Here we break down some possible spring stock boosters in the 2021 class.
QUINCY ALLEN | MARET
At close to 6-foot-5, Quincy Allen is a skilled forward that brings a bit of toughness to the front court. He will certainly be an interesting one to watch, and has the chance to become very good as he continues to grow into his body.
ANGELO BRIZZI | FAUQUIER
Angelo Brizzi is an exciting guard prospect who can flat out put the ball in the hole. He’s got a ton of experience at the varsity level already. We saw Brizzi feature in the VISAA tournament two years ago for Virginia Academy.
GUY FAUNTLEROY | ST. JOHN’S
Guy Fauntleroy split time between varsity and jv his freshman year, but he has the chance to vie for legitimate playing time next year. Look for the skilled, high IQ lead guard to emerge this spring with Team Takeover.
AVERY FORD | PAUL VI
Avery Ford developed into an important role player for PVI by season’s end. The energetic 6’5 forward, who is expected to play with Team Takeover, works hard and finds a variety of ways to contribute.
JORDAN HAWKINS | GAITHERSBURG
At 6-foot-4, Jordan Hawkins can score the ball in a variety of ways, with his shot being his biggest strength. Things could get scary once he gets everything to click.
