Kendle Moore Decommits from Drake
Danville 2018 point guard Kendle Moore has decommitted from Drake. The decision comes a couple weeks after the coach he committed to at the Missouri Valley program took a job at another school. Moore tells us why he made the decision.
“I just felt like with the coaching staff leaving I wanted to view all my options.”
Simeon power forward Messiah Jones decommitted the day the news broke of Coach Niko Medved leaving, but Moore took more time to process the decision and came to the conclusion on Monday that he wanted to reopen things back up. He has asked for his release, but not received it yet as of 6:00 PM on Monday.
Moore is a thin and wiry point guard that is electric with the ball in his hands. He has speed that allows him to blow past defenders where he scores well at the rim as an excellent layup maker. Jump shot has made strides over the last year with its consistency. Sound passer especially in the drive and kick. He gets after it defensively with his length.
He is the #7 overall prospect and #1 point guard in the final PrepHoopsIllinois Rankings. Moore played with Team Rose on the grassroots circuit.
