A look at new offers in Kansas
Here, Prep Hoops Kansas takes a look at several players who recently picked up new offers.
Ty Berry, 6’2, G, 2020, Newton, KC Run GMC 16U
Berry added an offrer from Drake on April 11, and after a strong showing in Dallas over the weekend, added an offer from Weber State on Monday. He is a long, athletic wing player who handles the ball, creates offense off the bounce and can score at all three levels.
Christian Braun, 6’5, G, 2019, Blue Valley Northwest, KC Run GMC
A smooth perimeter shooter, a good ballhandler who looks to attack more now than in the past and a long, rangy guard who is likely still growing. Braun has added offers from Lehigh and Ole Miss in recent days as he continues to play well for the KC Run GMC 17U squad.
Levi Braun, 6’3, G, 2019, Topeka Hayden, SSA Elite
Braun has kinda been an afterthought on a talented Topeka Hayden team in recent years, but he is a talented player capable of impacting the game at either guard spot. As a point guard, he plays with terrific pace, brings good handles, basketball IQ and the ability to knock down outside shots. He picked up an offer early in the spring from hometown Washburn.
N’Faly Dante, 6’11, F/C, 2020, Sunrise Christian, MoKan Elite 17U
Dante is among the nation’s elite big men in the 2020 class and is off to a huge start with MoKan Elite in the Nike EYBL 17U circuit despite playing up an age group. He recently picked up an offer from Iowa State after a strong showing in Dallas.
Josh Earley, 6’7, PF, 2019, Bishop Miege, KC Run GMC
Earley is a strong, powerful interior player who can dominate around the basket with monster slams, put backs and general garbage buckets in the paint. At 6’7, Earley plays bigger than his listed height due to his athleticism and size. He has an emerging post-up game, but can also face up and score as well. He recently picked up an offer from East Carolina after a strong showing at the Under Armour Circuit in Dallas.
Caleb Grill, 6’2, G, 2019, Maize, NLHA
There might not be a better all-around guard in the state in the 2019 class than Grill, who has a scorers mentality, elite athleticism and is a knock down perimeter shooter. Grill has good athleticism, is capable of throwing down impressive slams, can create his own shot and has a nice mid-range game. He recently added an offer from Weber State.
Malik Hall, 6’7, F, 2019, Sunrise Christian, MoKan Elite
We haven’t done much here on the Sunrise athletes as they are not technically from Kansas, but Hall is a talented athlete who is capable of doing a lot of different things as a strong, athletic 6’7 wing player. He is playing for MoKan Elite on the 17U circuit in the Nike EYBL for the second straight year and is off to a strong start. He recently picked up offers from Villanova, Florida State, Louisville, Minnesota, Notre Dame and TCU among others.
Zane Meeks, 6’8, F, 2019, Shawnee Mission Northwest, KC Team Rush
One of the state’s top stretch 4 prospects, Meeks is a standout 3-point shooter with a quick release and terrific range. He is a good rebounder, interior defender and brings a modern skill set to the floor for a big man. He recently picked up his second offer from Furman.
Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, 6’8, F, 2019, Bishop Miege, KC Run GMC
Talented big man is one of the regions top players in the 2019 class and recently added an offer from Arizona to an already impressive list. A student of the game with a high basketball IQ, Robinson-Earl impresses with his footwork in the low block, and while he features a seldom frame, he is plays much bigger than his size in the paint.
