2018 F Bryce Foggin talks post grad year, AAU ball and strengths
The last time I chatted with Bryce Foggin, he was finishing up his senior season at Gulf Coast in Naples, Florida.
This year, the 6’6″, 190-pounder opted to play a post grad season at Moravian Prep in North Carolina. His team finished 35-7 losing to the eventual national champions Bull City.
“I learned the importance of “physical” basketball and the need to be stronger, tougher, and more athletic to offset my skill set,” Foggin told Prep Hoops.
With less than six percent body fat, Foggin has gained 15 lbs. over the last year to bulk up his inside game. He says he’s able to get to the cup and finish stronger on top of his already reliable shot.
He’s looking to improve his perimeter defense.
This upcoming weekend, Foggin is playing one last live event in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He’s playing for TLBA (Team Life Basketball Association.
Interest has come from the likes of UCF, Stetson, FGCU, Maine and others but no solid offers are on Foggin’s table.
He’s hoping that his recent play will help him continue to impress and put him in the right situation at the next level.
It doesn’t make much sense that Foggin is still available. He comes from a basketball family packed with IQ and smarts. His touch from deep and inside is reliable. His strength has improved and he takes the game seriously.
