The 2nd annual Justin Byerly Upstate/WNC Showcase was held at Cox Mill High School in Concord, North Carolina on Saturday, March 17. Here is a look at some of the players from the event and some of the top performers. Mars Hill University, Columbia International, Winston-Salem State and Moravian Prep were some of the colleges that came by to take in the action.

6’4, 2019 F Cadavius Gary is a rebounding machine out of Belton-Honea Path HS. Big forward who takes up space in the paint. Big football recruit as well.

5’6, 2021 PG Josh Williams of Queens Grant (Charlotte). Good handles, crafty player, hustles a lot and good rebounded for size, not afraid to mix it up on defense. Very coachable.

2019 Isaiah Bostick of Scotland County was one of the most athletic players at the showcase. Dunked everything. High-flying 6’4 guard who tried to break the rims.

6’5, 2019 wing DayJuwon Cooke of North Rowan HS is a tough, lean, high-flying wing. Aggressive rebounder and had some of the best dunks of the showcase. Plays well above the rim.

Another top guard in WNC is Devin Bassett of Enka HS. Catch and shoot guard that doesn’t miss many when he gets his hands on it. Scored multiple 25+ point games this season.

2020 guard Axel Holm is a smooth shooting lefty that can finish. He is a tough and physical, get in your face guard from always tough Lincoln Charter.

6’3, Tristen Bouler had a really good showing yesterday. Unsigned senior was aggressive, shot it well, and rebounded. Strong and physical guard at the next level.

6’9, 2019 Ben Beeker of Hendersonville HS should start attracting low-major colleges. Long, runs the floor, blocks shots, good footwork, can step out and knock down shots and good post worker.

2020 guard Lee Langstaff is a LM-MM recruit. Can score it from anywhere on the floor, has a high vertical, bouncy, quick in the open floor, has a good hesistation cross-over.

2020 G Tylan Green is a scorer. Got a lot of his buckets by attacking the rim, and a pull-up jumper. Good size at the guard spot at 6’3.
