Here is a look at the top performances from the senior All-Star Game.
Isaiah Hodge (Lennard)
Simply a pure athlete, Hodge did more than just dunk tonight. He led the West side with 22 points which included some crowd-wowing dunks, but he also hit outside jumpers, compiling four 3-pointers. Hodge is skinny at 6’5″, but his skills as a pure athlete are undeniable.
Thierry Moliere (Jesuit)
Considering Moliere was injured for most of the season that makes it even more impressive that Moliere played in this game. He led all scorers with 14 points at the break for the West. The 6’0″ guard finished with 20 points. He is strong and poised as a ballhandler and attacker.
Isaiah Thomas (Brooks DeBartolo)
Another athlete that can jump out of the gym is Thomas. The 6’2″ guard had a very nice evening with 20 points while also finishing second in the dunk contest, suiting up for the East. Thomas is a good stop and pop shooter and is an athlete that can continue to get better with more hard work.
Tyrick Brascom (Tampa Bay Tech)
Shooting is Brascom’s specialty. The 5’8″ guard led all scorers with 23 points on the night. He had a few really good sequences where he took it to his defender and made the crowd roar with his moves to carve out some openings for the East.
Ronald Boyd (Plant)
A true floor general, Boyd was the best passer in this game, hands down for the East. He had full court passes of the inbound, a handful of feeds down low and he pushed the ball in tempo. The 6’1″ guard has a quiet confidence about him.
Triston Evans (Plant City)
One of the bigger framed bodies on either roster, Evans is a load at 6’4″. He was warming up with thunderous dunks but when the game started, he did his damage as a weavy attacker. Evans finished with 19 points for the East.
Tim Carter (Tampa Catholic)
It was a really sound night for Carter. The 6’2″ guard has a good feel for the inside game with his burst off the ball. His jumper is solid as well and he’ll surprise you from time to time with a flashy dunk.
