Team Wall 17U Preview
Team Wall has steadily become one the of the top programs on the Adidas circuit. The 17U team this season is one of the strongest rosters I have seen yet. In this column we are going to take a look at the roster and give a preview for what Team Wall has in store this season.
DJ Robertson-A lighting quick 5-foot-11 point guard for Athens Drive High School, Robertson was named to the All-District third team this season.
El Ellis-One of the flashiest guards in the state, Ellis is a skilled guard who knows how to score the basketball. He is a player with elite athleticism and the physical tools to be a high-level college player.
Chester Makoi-A prospect that could see a big change in his recruitment over the spring/summer. Makoi is a fundamentally sound 6-foot-9 forward. He has a soft touch around the basket, he does. good job of rebounding and getting position, he can shoot the mid-range shot out to the three-point line, he is a smart player with a high basketball IQ.
Cortez Marion-Holmes-A productive 6-foot-5 wing/guard that gets a lot done on the floor. He is a player that can rebound, pass, score, and make the right play every time he plays the game.
Zavian McLean-A skilled combo guard that has the right amount of speed, strength and toughness to be considered one of the state’s top 2019 guards. He can knock down shots from all over the floor and can attack the paint to get to the rim.
Jamal King-The 6-foot-6 guard possesses a mix of slashing ability, a nice mid-range jumper, defensive stopping ability, finishes through contact, playing without the ball and a knack for defensive rebounding.
Jeremy Robinson-The younger brother of Boston College scoring sensation Jerome Robinson, the younger Robinson is skilled in his own right. The 6-foot-2 guard is a scorer, has a high-level of athleticism, agile, plays with a high-motor and can finish plays at the rim.
