Team Tampa 2019: The Prospects

Playing style, training, and schedule are things most parents and players feel the most important when selecting a team. In Tampa under the direction of Director/ Manager Darrel Henderson, Team Tampa 2019 has put together a roster that they feel can compete with almost anyone.

2019 Prospects:

Norris Taylor Jr | 6’1 Guard | Sebring

Taylor can play either guard position and is a complete two way player who can shoot or slash and defend at a high level. He averaged 19.1 points, 4.7 assists, 6 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game.

Jadyn Strawder | 6’6 Forward | Plant City

Strawder is known for his deep long range shooting and ability to defend inside and outside. He averaged 8.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.5 steals.

Jalen Brown | 5’9 Point Guard | Strawberry Crest

Brown is a high IQ guy that puts his teammates in position to succeed. He averaged 8.0 points, 4.5 assists, and 1.9 steals

Kamalii Findlay | 6’5 Forward | Alonso

Findley has the ability to play inside and out. He has a large frame which he uses well to bully smaller defenders. He is quick for his size and simply does what is needed. Stats not available!

Delon Gooden Jr | 6′ Guard | Alonso

Gooden has excellent ball handling skills and is a threat to shoot from any place on the court. Stats not available!

Andrew Johnson | 6’3 Guard | Plant City

Johnson is a very athletic shooter. He keeps the floor spaced and sprints on fastbreaks for highlight dunks. Stats not available!

Amari Campbell | 6’3 Guard | Haines City

Campbell is deadly from mid-range. He also gets up into opposing players and accepts challenges as they come. He averaged 18.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2 steals.

Emmanuel Baez | 6’4 Forward | Plant City

Baez is a 2020 prospect who’s a great defender. He’s also excellent rebounder and player maker in the middle of zones and traps. He averaged 4 points and 5 rebounds.
