SWMO Basketball Future 50 Camp (2019 Point/Combo Guards)
Prep Hoops Missouri was in attendance at the inaugural SWMO Basketball Future 50 Basketball Camp in Lebanon, MO. Here is a look at the top Class of 2019 point guards and combo guards at the camp.
Ethan Hoppes 5’11” Cassville: The flashy point guard averaged 16 points in the three games to lead the camp in scoring. He displayed three-level scoring ability with good penetrating drives, floaters in the lane and some 3-point shooting. He also displayed some good passing
Kyle Farnsworth 5’11” Fordland: A slick point guard who played with a lot of confidence and swag. He has smooth handles and used them to create good separation to knock down 3-pointers or get into the lane and find open teammates. I was very impressed with his ability to pass the ball with both hands and be on target.
Kamron Stacey 6’2″ Fair Grove: A nice combo guard who plays with a lot of savvy with good skills and an excellent feel for the game. He has good handles, moves the ball well and also has a nice floater when he gets into the lane. He also displayed good 3-point range.
Kyle Stacey 6’2″ Fair Grove: Like his twin brother Kamron, Kyle is a smooth combo guard who has a nice feat for the game as well as good 3-point shooting ability, having hit four 3-pointers in the camp. His fundamentals are good and he was always under control.
Kevron Baker 6’0″ Mansfield: A solid point guard who play the game with a lot of pace. Every time he got the ball, he was looking to advance the ball and push the tempo. He displayed some nice penetrating moves to the basket and finished well.
