With a busy Spring planned, Century guard Coleton Adamson is looking to get as much exposure as possible in an effort to get on the radar of college coaches. First up for Adamson, will be this weekend at the Mountain Hoops Utah Showcase.
2018 guard @phantomadamson (Century HS) will be attending our UTAH Showcase! He is a big guard that can shoot it and get to the rim!

An extremely tough and gritty player, Prep Hoops Idaho witnessed Adamson’s strong play firsthand at the state tournament. Adamson certainly left it all out on the court during Century’s run to a third place finish at the 4A level. In the third place contest against Skyview, Adamson posted 28 points and 8 rebounds to close out his high school career in style. PHID caught up with Adamson and he told us just how special this past season was for him. “This last season was the best basketball season I have been apart of. This was my first and last trip to the state tourney. After winning 5 games my first 3 years of high school then having the season my team and I had winning 17 games and being able to lead them was amazing. My favorite part of the season was our district run winning 4 loser out games in a row to get to the state tournament.”
Now, with an excellent senior campaign behind him, Adamson is seeking out any and all exposure opportunities. Adamson added, “I am getting ready for the showcase this Saturday I’m looking forward to compete in front of college coaches and interact with them. This spring I’m really trying to reach out to colleges and promote myself to them.”
Adamson’s game is still evolving and with his passion and will out on the court and off of it, he stands to be a valuable asset for next level coaches to think about. On top of that, Adamson continues to put the work in. “I am putting a lot of work into my ball handling and quickness towards the rim. I put a lot of work into my shot as well. I’ve also been trying to prepare myself for the speed of the game at the next level.”
As mentioned earlier, we really liked what we saw from Adamson at the state tournament, he brought it each and every game when the stakes were high and it was evident he was a team leader. Adamson should keep popping up at exposure events, so be sure to check him out when you see his name on the roster sheet.
