Prospect Spotlight: Tyler Isaak
The future of the Wolfpack is in more than capable hands. Tyler Isaak is a deadeye sniper who heats up quickly after his 1st shot or two torches the net. A competitive fire pushes him to relentlessly attack defenses with a barrage of three point bombs. He uses this gift to open up the other areas of his game as you’ll find out from our recent interview session.
What are your biggest strengths and weaknesses as a player?
My biggest strengths are my shooting ability and I.Q. for the game. My weaknesses to improve on are my speed and quickness. I also want to improve my dribbling to become more of a point guard.
What was your favorite gym to play in this past season and why?
My favorite gym to play in this year was Riordan because I had a lot of fun playing in the Riordan Tournament. I believe it’s the nicest gym, that I played in all year.
Who are some of your favorite NBA/College players and why?
For college I like Collin Sexton, Jalen Brunson, Jordan McLaughlin and Miles Bridges. My favorite NBA players are Devin Booker, Nick Young, and Demar Derozan.
You play with a ton of confidence. Where did you learn to play that way?
I play with confidence because I’ve been playing basketball since I can remember and because I try to get better everyday.
Where will you play AAU this offseason?
This offseason, I will be playing with the LakeShow 15s Elite Team.
What should college coaches know about you?
College Coaches should know that I play to win. I work hard to improve my game everyday and I try to soak in all of the information I learn from my coaches.
