Possible Spring Stock Boosters: 2020 (Part 2)
We are less than 30 days from the first live period of the AAU season. With that being said, we’re going to spend some time looking at prospects from DC, Maryland, and Virginia in the 2019, 2020 and 2021 class over the next few weeks, and give you some names to look out for as we dive into what should be another hectic spring. Here we break down some possible spring stock boosters in the 2020 class.
LINCOLN BALL | 6’4 G | WILLIAMSPORT
Lincoln Ball did a bit of everything in his sophomore year at Williamsport. The 6’4 guard is highly skilled. Ball will be a player to watch for Mid Atlantic Select this spring.
JULES BIKOY | 6’2 G | ST. MARY’S RYKEN
Jules Bikoy had an impressive sophomore year in his first varsity season at Ryken. Look for the athletic guard to be the go-to-guy for Team Takeover Orange.
JOSIAH FREEMAN | 6’4 G | PAUL VI
Coming off the heels of a breakout at the Metro Challenge, it seems as though Josiah Freeman is ready to take the next step. Look for the skilled 6’4 scorer to attract eyes from a variety of division one programs this spring.
DARIUS MADDOX | 6’3 G | ST. JOHN’S
Darius Maddox will feature on a very talented 16U Team Durant squad this spring. This comes off a sophomore campaign in which he earned his way into a starting role. Maddox has all the tools to be a prolific scorer, but it’s his attention to detail on defense that propelled him this season.
PAUL SMITH | 6’8 F | DEMATHA
Another breakout performer at the Metro Challenge, Paul Smith is rounding into form at the right time. With his first offer coming from JMU this week, it won’t be long before other programs catch on. Look for Smith to be a forceful paint presence this spring with Team Takeover.
