Oklahoma State Predictions
The biggest weekend in Oklahoma High School hoops is upon us with Class 6A-2A battling it out for the Gold Ball this weekend. The Prep Hoops staff will be all across the state covering each class throughout every round! This article gives the picks to win it all from each staff writer.

Class 6A: Edmond Santa Fe
This is a rare year in Class 6A where all 8 teams have very little of a gap between them. Edmond Santa Fe is my pick because they are arguably the hottest team in the state. The road will not be easy for the Wolves as matter of fact I think they have the toughest side of the bracket. Even with the tough road to the title give me Tauraiwn Knight and Edmond Santa Fe with the way he is leading this squad.
Class 5A: Lawton Ike
I refuse to go with the chalk pick give me the Eagles to take 5A! Antonio Gordon has turned into a top ten arguably top five 2019 Oklahoma prospect with his stellar season. The Eagles have a great draw getting Coweta in the opening round. The road will get tough in the semifinals and championship. What makes me take Lawton Ike is the leadership of RJ Fisher, Kinyon Parker and the rise of Gordon.
Class 4A: Heritage Hall
Kingfisher would be the easy pick in Class 4A and I would guess is near everyone’s pick to win it all. What makes me take Heritage Hall is I think the senior Point Guard play of Jon Matthews mixed with the infusion of freshman phenom Trey Alexander will have a great weekend. The Chargers have been tested with a very tough schedule while on the other hand, Kingfisher did not have many close games this season due to lack of competition. I think the tough schedule for Heritage Hall pays off with a title. Another player to watch on the Chargers is Will McDonald. Hall needs to show up all three games as McLain has the firepower to knock them off if they do not show up ready to go.
Class 3A: Mount Saint Mary
Class 3A has more talent across the board than it has had in recent years. The Mount has a tough path to the championship. I picked them similar with my theme of picks because of the veteran Guard play of Stephon Hall and Cedric Rollerson. Also, Mount Saint Mary is the one team outside of Hennessey that has a bruiser inside who could matchup against Jacob Germany at Kingston inside. I would be shocked if Kingston is not the team from the top side of the bracket. Sperry is a team to watch out for because Jace Pratt could get hot and pull off a crazy upset.
Class 2A: Wright City
After seeing Wright City at the TOC this year it is hard to think any team in Class 2A can match what they bring to the table. Robert and CJ Briley create a tough one-two punch on the Wing. Give Me Wright City and I don’t think it will be close until the Championship game.

Class 6A: Broken Arrow
Broken Arrow is playing the best basketball of the year right now. Josh Robinson couldn’t be stopped last week. They’ve shown they can win big games and I don’t think anyone can beat the way they are playing right now.
Class 5A: Tulsa Memorial
Memorial is the best team all around. They have a on of depth and I think the other contenders only have 7 players deep. Memorial will be able to stay fresh through those three days.
Class 4A: Kingfisher
Kingfisher dominated their way through the playoffs with convincing wins over good teams. They have proven they can win it all and with the teams that qualified they are set up for success. They didn’t lose talent from last year and just added more with their freshmen class.
Class 3A: Kingston
I don’t think any team in Class 3A can matchup with Jacob Germany. They have shooters that surround Germany that can knock down big shots. They haven’t struggled with teams inside their class and they look set to run away with the tournament.
Class 2A: Wright City
Wright City has been dominant this season. They haven’t lost inside their class and have even dominated tough teams out of their class. They have a lot of athletes and Robert Briley can turn any game on its head. No on in 2A can match their talent.

Class 6A: Broken Arrow
Broken Arrow has everything you need to win this year. They have size at almost every position and athleticism to matchup with anyone.
Class 5A: Booker T. Washington
It only takes a couple games of hot shooting to win the championship and the Hornets have just what it takes to win.
Class 4A: Heritage Hall
With the best freshman in the state getting better by the game the Chargers will take this one. Jon Matthews is too quick for anyone in 4A to keep in front.
Class 3A: Kingston
Kingston has arguably the best player in the state in Jacob Germany. Germany is a force and will be tough for any team to handle.
Class 2A: Wright City
Wright City has proven that they are the team to beat in 2A. LumberJax is hard to keep up with and play some of the best team basketball in the state.

Class 6A: PC North
They are not playing well but I got to go with the Panthers. They will put egos and any inconsistent performances behind them to seize a great opportunity for a gold ball. Playing teams from the East should help.
Class 5A: Tulsa Memorial
Memorial has championship pedigree plus a ton of depth. The Chargers have elite talent in their front court which will be the difference. Also, the other side of the bracket is loaded.
Class 4A: Heritage Hall
Heritage Hall has Trey Alexander who is unstoppable in transition. They also have talented wings who will be their X-factor. If they can shoot the ball consistently then no one can beat them in 4A.
Class 3A: Kingston
There just isn’t any other Jacob Germany’s walking around in 3A. Kingston has a good with some underrated players but Germany’s elite talent will push them through.
Class 2A: Wright City
Wright City has only lost two games this year and both were from teams in higher classes. Their winning tradition and chemistry have given them the momentum to navigate the tournament and come out with another championship.
