Pender HS Freshman Guard Khalil Marshall: You can expect him to break some scoring records before it’s all said and done. He has a game that is mature for his age and you can tell that he spends quite a bit of time in the gym perfecting his craft. He can score it in numerous was and has ball handling skills that make him a headache to attempt to defend.

John A Holmes Senior Ckayvion Everett: Without a doubt he is one of the best athletes in the state, you don’t have to watch him for too long before you are amazed with how quick and fast he gets off the ground.

Voyager Academy Senior Wing Jordan Love: What is there not to like about a player that is 6’5, with a high IQ that can flat out get buckets. He has a nice long wingspan and just simply comes in and gets the job done every time he steps on the court.

East Carteret Senior Guard Maceo Donald: You can tell he spends some time on the football field as well with how he plays the game in a physical manner. He’s a floor general and bring a winning mentality, he also does a nice job of finding his own offense within the flow of the team offense.

East Carteret Freshman Guard Bennie Brooks: Only a freshman but he plays the game with the poise of a player who has been playing on the varsity level. East Carteret has performed well in the past years and they will continue to be a nice squad with youngsters like Bennie being a part of the team.

Ocracoke HS Senior Guard Liam Caswell: This season was an outstanding season for him as he led his team to a 21-4 record while averaging 23 points and 8 rebounds per night. His lack of recruitment is still a mystery but whatever school gets him will be getting a player that can come in and do well but also a high IQ and high character youngster.
