The high school basketball season has almost come to an end.  State Tournament starts next week.  It is now time for PrepHoopsKentucky to unveil our All-State Teams.  Here are your Class of 2021 All-State Teams!

First Team

C Trey James (Sheldon Clark) – Averaging 11.5 points and 10.9 rebounds per game, the 6’11 James also shot 60% from the floor and blocked nearly 8 shots per game.

F Mason Moore (Paintsville) – The 6’5 Freshman averaged 17.8 points per game and pulled down 6.3 rebounds per game. Moore shot an impressive 48% from the field (39% from 3) and 81 from the free throw line.

Wing Scotty Draud (Beechwood) – Wired to score, Draud was second in the state in scoring among freshmen at 20.9 points per game. Already 6’4 and still growing, Draud will need to improve his shooting percentages as he ages to remain among the state’s elites.

G Kelly Niece (Simon Kenton) – A scoring guard whose production grew as the season went along, Niece peaked with a career high 37 points in the 8th region quarterfinals last week. Impressively, Niece shot 53% from the floor, 38% from 3 and 77% at the charity stripe. With Zach Kelch graduating, Niece will look to up his scoring output even more next season.

Zion Harmon (Adair County) – Probably the most hyped player in the history of Kentucky, Harmon lived up to the hype statistically this season. The 5’10” point guard led the state in scoring with 33.2 points per game and 50/38/91 shooting splits for the Indians.
