Something new we are looking at this year is looking at different regions or quadrants in the state. There are many areas and hotbeds of talent in the state and we want to take a little bit more of a microscope to them to see what the nuances of the state will produce in each class. This is our look at Region 4 in Southwestern Indiana.

Breakdown: The group we have in the Southwestern part of the state is the most interesting to watch over the next few years. This is the most talent this part of the state has had in quite a while and they have DI talented littered everywhere from guys like Khristian Lander to Curt Hopf to Colson Montgomery. This could produce upwards of six or seven DI players when it is all done.

The best thing about this group is that their schedules are all intertwined with Forest Park, Southridge, and Heritage Hills all yearly foes and even Paoli, Barr-Reeve, and Loogootee will mix in there. Evansville Reitz looks like they are back as well as they have an outstanding duo in Khristian Lander and Andrew Carlton that are already starting as freshman.

Usually, the Terre Haute to Bloomington area is among the lightly recruited areas in the state but I think that has to go out the window with this class. Loogootee, Northview, Owen Valley, Barr-Reeve, Edgewood, and Linton-Stockton all will be the home of the best talent in the 2021 class.
