The final week of the regular season is upon us. The week features some exciting games as teams test themselves heading into postseason play. Here’s a quick look at the biggest games of the week ahead.
Monday, February 12
Ballard goes to Doss in a battle of two top Louisville teams. This is likely to be a high scoring contest.
Dontaie Allen and Pendleton County head to Paris to take on Bourbon County.
The Zion Harmon show comes to Georgetown as Adair County tries to hand Scott County their first loss in 2018.
11th region contender Madison Central takes a trip to South Laurel to go up against JJ Ramey and the Cardinals.
Tuesday, February 13
Andrew Taylor and his Corbin teammates head to Pulaski County to take on Steven Fitzgerald and Pulaski for likely the last time in their high school careers.
Big game in the 5th region as LaRue County heads to Elizabethtown to take on Darius Harding and the Panthers.
Lexington Christian takes on Lafayette in a possible 43rd district championship preview.
3rd region favorite Owensboro makes a trip to Hopkinsville to do battle with the Tigers.
Wednesday, February 14
Light night of games across the Commonwealth as most will be celebrating Valentine’s Day.
Moore takes on PRP in Louisville and Bourbon County renews their rivalry with Harrison County.
Thursday, February 15
Christian County heads to Bowling Green to tangle with the Purples.
Graves County battles with Marshall County in a possible regional tournament preview in the first region.
George Rogers Clark comes to Lexington for their regular season finale against Henry Clay.
Lexington Christian makes the trip across town to take on Bryan Station.
Friday, February 16
A couple of big 6th region games in Louisville as Valley takes on Doss and Fairdale heads to Fern Creek. Those games could be regional semifinal previews.
Knox Central makes the trip to London to face Adam Sizemore and North Laurel.
All A Champs Lexington Christian head to Louisville to face Trinity.
Jake Walter and Covington Catholic make the trip to Richmond to take on Isaiah Cozart and the Indians.
Two of the top teams in the 4th and 5th regions go head to head as LaRue County plays host to Warren Central.
