Everytime Allin Blunt receives the ball, he is a threat. The unsigned 6’6 senior plays an intelligent brand of basketball. Blunt recorded 7 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds, and 2 teals in the win for Gonzaga.
Anwar Gill provided valuable energy off the bench. The versatile 2019 guard played under control, but aggressively. Gill recorded 13 points and 2 important offensive rebounds in the Eagles’ win.
Despite battling foul trouble, Earl Timberlake finished the game in impressive fashion. The long-limbed wing defended and rebounded at a very high level, and showcased a tireless motor. Timberlake recorded 5 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and a block in the win for DeMatha.
Chuck Harris has been rock solid at the point for Gonzaga Head Coach Steve Turner. The class of 2020 standout exhibits a terrific skill level and solid decision making ability. Harris finished the game with 5 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds, and just 1 turnover.
Part of the reason why Hunter Dickinson was so dominant is because of the way his teammates were feeding him. 2019 Jahmir Young was the best in that department. The southpaw floor general, who handed out 5 assists to go along with 5 points, accurately set up his big man early and often.
