Trailing 52-49, Osceola proceeded to score the game’s final six points to upset Orlando Christian Prep in front of a raucous home crowd on Friday night.
Orlando Christian Prep senior forward Nassir Little got a good look with two seconds left from deep, but couldn’t connect. Osceola junior Josh Marte proceeded to grab the rebound and the buzzer struck as the Kowboys fans stormed the court.

Here are the top standouts from the game.
Josh Marte (Osceola)
Listed at 5’9”, it really doesn’t matter that he isn’t that tall. The Osceola junior point guard is all heart and determination. He led all scorers with 22 points including 13 in the first half alone. He hit a pair of long 3’s and went to the rack time and time again to put the team on his back ().
Nassir Little (Orlando Christian Prep)
Overrated chants came pouring down from the Osceola fans and the referees certainly made life tough for Nassir Little. The 6’7” North Carolina commit didn’t get many calls, but still managed a team-best 17 points which included two monster jams in transition ().
Omar Payne (Osceola)
Defensively, there was no one better than Omar Payne in this game. The 6’9″ junior had from my count six blocks, all flying out of bounds. Payne paced Marte with 17 hard earned points. He is a major player in the post on both ends and he is an issue for every team he plays.
CJ Walker (Orlando Christian Prep)
Orlando Christian Prep junior forward CJ Walker had 10 of his 12 points in the first half. He had a fast start that featured a dunk and some nice moves to earn jumpers on his own. He was slowed down by the Osceola attack in the second half. However, the 6’8″ 2019 forward is a pure athlete who is getting better each game.
Isaiah Palermo (Osceola)
Usually, the most consistent chip for the Kowboys is junior forward Isaiah Palermo. The 6’5″ 2019 starter had 11 points for Osceola with some nice floaters and takes to the rim. Alongside Marte and Payne, the junior trio plays well together during high school season and in AAU season with Team CP25.
