Question & Answer: Jalen Fisher (2019)
Lincoln High School is a program with a bright future. They spotlight a lot of young talent. One key player in the Lincoln basketball family is junior Jalen Fisher. The 5-9 point guard has had a breakout season and will be a player to keep an eye on from here on out. Fisher is averaging 10ppg, 3.4apg, 3.6spg, and 3.8rpg. I recently had a Question and Answer session with Fisher.
Question: What one word describes you best?
Jalen Fisher: Quick.
Question: What is your favorite NBA team?
Jalen Fisher: Boston Celtics.
Question: How do you feel about you and your teams performance so far this season?
Jalen Fisher: I’m new to a team that has 2
established guards (Amari Frye and Tahj Chapman). I’m adjusting my style of play to fit into this system. I’m always a work in
progress, but I’m feeling more comfortable every game. Our team has great potential, but we have yet to live up to our maximum potentional.
Question: What do you see yourself doing after basketball?
Jalen Fisher: After graduation from college, I hope to become a sneaker/tennis shoe designer.
Question: Who is your favorite NBA player?
Jalen Fisher: Kyrie Irving.
Question: What is your favorite form of social media?
Jalen Fisher: Snapchat.
Question: What class do you enjoy most?
Jalen Fisher: I am actually enjoy
Algebra 2 this year. I am learning a lot
and preparing for the SAT test.
Question: If you could choose 1 food, what would it be?
Jalen Fisher: Pizza.
Question: What other things do you enjoy besides basketball?
Jalen Fisher: I enjoy playing video
games and hanging out with my friends.
Question: Do you have a hero? If you do, who is it and why?
Jalen Fisher: My hero is Dr. Martin
Luther King Jr. When I think of his
bravery and his ability to lead and change the way people sees the world, I get inspired.
