High school basketball is all about the future. This can include the future of a program, but more importantly it means creating futures for young men in life and athletics. Jailin Lee has been a strong performer so far this season. The 5-8 sophomore point guard has done a lot this season to ensure his place in the future of Farmington basketball. He has played both varsity and JV this season and JV numbers show his potential: 15.8ppg, 4.3apg, 3.7spg. I caught up with Jailin Lee for a Question and Answer session.
Question: What one word describes you best?
Jailin Lee: Humble.
Question: What is your favorite NBA team?
Jailin Lee: Celtics.
Question: How’d do you feel about you and your teams performance so far this season?
Jailin Lee: I feel that we’ve been have trouble keeping the lead in late games situations.
Question: What do you see yourself doing after basketball?
Jailin Lee: If I don’t make it to college for basketball than I’ll want to go to college for graphic design.
Question: Who is your favorite NBA player?
Jailin Lee: Kyrie Irving.
Question: What is your favorite form of social media?
Jailin Lee: Twitter.
Question: What class do you enjoy the most?
Jailin Lee: My graphic design class.
Question: If you could choose 1 food, what would it be?
Jailin Lee: Chicken pita.
Question: What other things do you enjoy besides basketball?
Jailin Lee: I like spending time with my friends or just chilling at home playing video games.
Question: Do you have a hero? If you do, who is it and why?
Jailin Lee: I think my hero would be my mom because when I wanted to push everything and everyone to the side she was the only one who motivated me to keep going.
