Why do you wear long sleeves during games?
“I wear long sleeves because the first game I wore them I shot the best I have all season so I continue to wear them.”
What is your favorite opposing gym to play in?
“I would have to say Dell Rapids because they usually fill the gym and have a great student section. It’s loud and a fun environment to play in.”
Who is the toughest player you have guarded?
“The toughest player I’ve guarded this year is A.J. Plitzuweit because he is really quick off the dribble. He can create his own shots so you always have to be on your toes. He also doesn’t let you get in his head during the game.”
What is your favorite NBA team and player?
“I would have to say my favorite NBA team is the Cleveland Cavaliers and my favorite player is LeBron.”
What was the experience like winning a state title last year?
“It was a great experience because all of us guys were very close like a family. We all played our roles as teammates.”
Who is your biggest mentor?
“My biggest mentor would be Payton Conrad. He graduated last year and I look up to him the most because he always pushed me to be a better player. He always got on me for not getting in the weight room.”
What is one thing you will take away from your senior year?
“The one thing I will take away from this season is to enjoy every moment because it goes by quick.”
