Player of the Week: Week 10
Another week, another set of nominees for Player of the Week. Based on their play last week, here are the nominees:
Jay Owen, Daviess County – The senior guard for the Panthers averaged 14 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds per game while helping his team to a 3-0 record. Owen also broke the school record for 3s in a game when he went 7-10 from behind the arc against Meade County.
Craig Ashe, Fairdale – In a win against Valley, Senior Center Ashe had 25 points and 8 rebounds. He followed that with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 6 blocks against Butler before finishing the week with 23 points, 8 rebounds and a block against Bullitt East.
Lance Johnson, North Bullitt – A senior guard, Johnson had a career high 34 points against Elizabethtown on Tuesday then had 25 points against Bullitt East on Friday.
Marques Warrick, Henry Clay – In 4 games last week, the dynamic sophomore had 95 points, 17 rebounds and 8 assists.
Dalton Barnett, Menifee County – The 6’4 Guard is averaging 33 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists.Saturday night, he put up 41 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists in a win over Nicholas County.
