NCISAA East NC Quarter FInals Matchups!
Greenfield School vs Victory Christian at Greenfield School 4pm: Greenfield played a very intense non-conference schedule which should only benefit them during the state playoffs. Their journey begins with a home game against Victory Christian who has a record of 21-12, Greenfield will be led by Coby White of course but be on the lookout for the supporting cast of Elijah McCadden and Djimon Bailey to have bigtime games today.
United Faith Christian vs Northwood Temple 730 pm: This matchup has a chance to be a really good one, with UFCA coming in at the 5 seed and Northwood Temple being the host team with the 4 seed. UFCA will look to Senior Guard Rafael Jenkins to lead the way along with Forward KC Hankton, while Northwood will need a stellar game from Junior Guard Josh Nickelberry and Senior Forward Ian Steere. It should be noted that this same matchup took place last year in the state playoffs at Northwood, with the Eagles prevailing and advancing to the next round.
Trinity Christian vs Wayne Country Day at John D Fuller Center 5pm: Trinity comes in as the #1 seed and will host Wayne Country Day, Trinity is a squad that is absolutely loaded and has 3/4 players that can go for 25 points on any given night. Joey Baker , Greg Gantt and Audiese Toney are the headline players, however KJ Marshall is coming off an outstanding Conference Tournament and has can be a special player in the state tournament.
Coastal Christian at Village Christian 7pm: The Village Christian Knights will look to go for their 3rd state championship in a row as they will take on a talented Coastal Christian squad. Coastal is led by Senior Forward Michael Parker who is a double/double machine and has picked up all types of D3 interest. Village Christin features 4 D1 prospects in : Junub Char, FiFi Quanseh, Travion McCray and Khuath Gatkuoth, clearly Village is the favorite but they will need to be focused.
