Class A 2nd Round Game Results
High Point Academy (Spartanburg) 62 McBee 52
Jayden Byrd (2020) and RJ Bell each scored 20 points in the Wolves 2nd round win.
Shane Hammonds finished his career with the Panthers with 17 points. Trevon Reed scored 14 points and Nick Boyle added 10 points in the loss. The Panthers finish the year at 15-10.
Ridge Spring-Monetta 74 Denmark-Olar 60
Tyson Bettis showed his senior leadership for Ridge Spring-Monetta and scored 25 points for the Trojans, The Trojans defeated the region foe Vikings. Johnnie Freeman added 15 points, Brendan Frazier 11 points and Jerry Tyler chipped in 10 points.
Harold Johnson and Malik Palmer scored 16 and 15 points respectively for the Vikings.
Great Falls 89 Blackville-Hilda 47
Kelton Talford was way too much for Blackville-Hilda. Talford (2020) scored 33 points in the win for the Red Devils. Tommy Belk (2018) drew 2 more charges tonight for the Red Devils.
Adonis Davis (2021) scored 26 points in the loss for the Hawks.
Lewisville 58 Hunter-Kinard-Tyler 54
Jadakiss Talford was a beast inside tonight for the Lions. Talford (2019) finished the game with 13 points and it advanced the Lions to a 3rd game with region rival Great Falls on Tuesday. Maurice Grant added 12 points, Mikial Fourney 10 points and Demetric Hardin 9 points.
Fourney signed earlier this week with Mars Hill (NC) for football next season.
Marlow Gilmore (2019) finished with 19 points and Camry James added 11 points in his last high school game for the H-K-T Trojans.
C.E. Murray 51 East Clarendon 47
Sean Swaringer had the hot hand for the War Eagles in the victory. Swaringer finished with 19 points. Korey Scott added 8 points and jumping jack Twanye Butler added just 4 points.
Tyjhai Calvin (2020) took home high game honors with 21 points for the Wolverines and fellow back court mate Jalen Bryant added 10 points.
Lowcountry Leadership 73 Hannah-Pamplico 71
Donnell Bowens scored 38 points to help Lowcountry Leadership advance. Kobe Praylow scored 31 points and Devin Daniels added 19 points for the Red Raiders in the loss. Praylow recently went over 1,000 career points.
Hemingway 57 Cross 33
The Tigers rolled past Cross to move to the Final 8 in the Palmetto State. The Tigers were led by Class AA Player of the Year Darius Taylor with 17 points. Tyrike Lewis (2018) added 13 points along with fellow senior Troy Singletary chipping in 11 points. The Tigers move onto 17-6 on the season.
Nathan Walker a Wofford football signee finished the game with 15 points. BJ Fuller finished his high school career with just 4 points.
Bethune-Bowman 47 Baptist Hill (Hollywood) 43
Braxton Wedgeworth led the Mohawks with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Javier King and Roderick Pam both chipped in with 11 and 10 points respectively.
