Opening 1st Round Results from Class A around the Palmetto State. 8 Teams had opening round byes and all 2nd Round games will be played on Friday February 16. McBee 59 Williston-Elko 56  Shane Hammonds (2018) 29 points and Nick Boyle adds 10 points for the Panthers. Keshawn Toney scored 18 points, Austin Smith 13 points and Desmond Murray 11 points in the loss for the Blue Devils. Blackville-Hilda 79  Ware Shoals 58 Ja'Quaivian James 30 points, Kawuan Odom 16 points and Adonis Davis 12 points. Shon Lowe (2018) scored 30 points in his final high school game. Lewisville 98   Calhoun Falls 47  The Lions roared a little too loud for Calhoun Falls and walked away with a lopsided win. Lewisville defeated Calhoun Falls last season in the Upper State Championship 71-48. The Lions move to 15-8 on the season. East Clarendon 54  St John's 49   Tyjhai Calvin 15 points and Jalen Bryant 14 points lead the way for the Wolverines in the win. Tyrus Richardson finished with 13 points in the loss. Hannah-Pamplico  59  Military Magnet 40  Devin Daniels 17 points, Keandre Beach 12 points and Kobe Praylow 10 points. The Red Raiders move to 12-9 on the season. Cross 55  Charleston Math & Science 37 The Cross Trojans had little trouble with Charleston Math & Science after jumping out to a 31-9 halftime lead. Kendale Garris led the Trojans with 16 points and BJ Fuller added 8 points. Bethune Bowman 68   Creek Bridge 49 The Mohawks have won 7 games in a row now. Braxton Wedgeworth led the way with 22 points and 14 rebounds. Raekwon Ridgeway chipped in 15 points, Jarell Brown 11 points and Roderick Pam 9 points.
