Davies won the first game limiting the Packers to 4 of 23 shooting from the arc while Braeton Motschenbacher has one of his better games of the season scoring 25 points.
Fargo Davies
Braeton Motschenbacher (6-1, Jr, Guard). Scoring 16.2 points per game shooting 50 plus percent from the field and making nearly 80 percent of his foul shots. Braeton is also making 44 percent of his threes and is second on the team in assists.
Cole Hage (6-2, Soph, Guard). Cole has had a fantastic sophomore year scoring a dozen points a game making half of his 9-10 shots each night. Hasn’t shot well at the arc but makes 80 percent of his foul shots and he’s one of the elite rebounders on the team despite being a 6-2 guard. Proven to be a guard that the state needs to know.
Harrison Thom (6-2, Jr, Forward). A shooter that plays his role well scoring six a game as most of his attempts come from the arc. A guy that needs a hand in his face or he will shoot better than his normal 40 percent.
Mitch Larson (6-3, Jr, Guard). Larson is having an outstanding season and proving to be one of the state’s most versatile players. The team needs Larson to score some (ten points a game shooting nearly 50 percent from the floor, 4o percent of his threes, and 72 percent of his foul shots) but he is also dishing out 4-5 assists a game, grabbing 3-4 boards, and leading the team in steals.
Jaden Klabo (6-4, Jr, Forward). Klabo is the team’s second leading scorer at 14-15 a game making a third of his treys and 42 percent of their shots from the floor. Klabo is also a versatile player grabbing 4-5 boards moving the ball, and playing his role on both ends.
Parker Stenseth (6-5, Sr, PF). Parker is playing his role around the basket putting up 8.5 points on seven shots a contest and six boards to go with it.
Shane Anderson (6-5, Sr, Center). The Davies physical battler around the basket who leads the team in rebounding and is scoring seven points a contest. Anderson makes half of his six shots a contest.
West Fargo
Tanner Zepeda (5-10, Sr, G). Tanner scores 8-9 a game and is second on the team in assists. The senior is better going at the basket than shooting from the perimeter.
Brett Liebl (5-10, Sr, PG). Brett is another 8-9 per game scorer in the Packer backfield only Liebl is more of a perimeter threat making 40 percent of his threes and 60 percent of his shots are at the arc. Brett also battles for 3-4 rebounds a contest.
Dustin Mertz (6-1, Soph, Guard). Mertz is a three point shooter off the bench that moves the ball well. Most of his attempts are at the arc at the moment.
Joe Pistorius (6-3, Sr, Guard). One of the state’s elite players scoring 22.5 a game shooting 37 percent at the arc and nearly 80 percent at the foul line. Joe is going at the rim and using the dribble separation and dribble attack with solid results. Joe is scoring 50 percent from the floor overall and making 58 percent of his shots going to the basket. Also grabbing five boards, dishing out four assists, and leads the team in steals.
Abdi Sufi (6-3, Sr, SF). Sufi is scoring 14 points per game shooting 60 percent from the foul line, 50 percent from the field, and 35 percent from the arc. Sufi has been active on the glass from the wing grabbing over eight rebounds each contest.
PJ Holaday (6-5, Sr, PF). A reserve battler that defends, gives his team a couple buckets and 3-4 rebounds a game.
Luke Lennon (6-5, Jr, Center). One of the top rebounders in North Dakota and the way he collects boards at 6-foot-5, maybe one of the best rebounders in the surrounding areas. Eleven rebounds a contest plus he is scoring 14 plus points a game shooting 56 percent from the floor. Luke is also a 77 percent foul shooters.
