2020 Top Scorers
Prep Hoops takes a look at the top scorers in the Palmetto State from the 2020 class.
Zyan Gilmore – Clarendon Hall (Summerton) 28.8 ppg (pictured on the front)
Gilmore has the Saints winning the region and has been battling a fever and cold the past week. Gilmore played his freshman season at Lake Marion HS. Gilmore can really pile up some numbers in a hurry while on the floor.
Maliek Brown – Palmetto Christian (Mount Pleasant) 22.8 ppg
Brown has the his squad at 20-1 on the season and is a force around the cup for the Eagles.
Jalen Coit – Cheraw HS 21.7 ppg
Coit a left-handed scoring guard has scored 903 career points for the Braves in just 2 seasons. Coit who is ranked #3 in the Palmetto State 2020 Class plays a big game night vs region foe Lee Central HS.
Kelton Talford – Great Falls HS 19.4 ppg
Talford has his Red Devils playing Lewisville HS playing tonight in a big region game. Talford 6’4 is a double-double guy around the rim.
Darjawuan Brown – North Charleston HS 19 ppg
Brown scored 46 points recently scored in a game. Brown has the Cougars 15-2 and in 1st place in the region.
William Snipes – Dixie HS (Due West) 18.9 ppg
Myles Tate – Dorman HS 17.7 ppg
Tate is #1 ranked in the 2020 Class and scored 34 points vs Spartanburg Day the other night.
Jayden Byrd – High Point Academy (Spartanburg) 17.2 ppg
Byrd plays at a small school which has only been open a few seasons.
Draylon Burton – Powdersville HS 17.2 ppg
Rayshon Harrison – Christ Church (Greenville) 16.3 ppg
Harrison really sees the floor and is always under control when on the floor.
AJ Vaught – Pee Dee Academy (Florence) 15.7 ppg
Vaught left-handed guard has the green light whenever he wants it.
Dashawn Murray – North Charleston HS 14.4 ppg
Murray hasn’t been with the team the last 5 games or so and has to workout some off the court issues. Murray a high energy kid on the floor really can be active in transition along with the passing lanes.
Isaiah Caldwell – Heathwood Hall 13.7 ppg
Caldwell the rangy guard trips down to Porter Gaud tonight.
