Breakdown: With a long look at the best on-ball defenders in 2018, there really aren’t many better than Jalen Whack of Carmel. The 6’2 guard leads the list but there are quite a few guys at each level worth looking at. Cushingberry, Terry, and Chinn are smaller but they are tough and physical on the ball. Jaylen Minor, Logan Blake, Eddie Gill, and Rylan Grundy give you length and athleticism. Even down the list, look at guys like Kenny Washington and Jaylen Minor to get a lot better in college.
