Prep Hoops Idaho Player Of The Week (1/1-1/8) Is Borah’s Austin Bolt
Prep Hoops Idaho is proud to continue our Player of the Week award for the 2017-2018 prep hoops season. Each Player of the Week candidate below has put up impressive stats during the past week in addition to being an integral member for their respective team.
Each week we highlight those who have stood out in what will be a season long tradition spotlighting the top producing prospects in the state of Idaho.
As many of the teams in the Gem state hover around the 10 game mark now in the season, squads and players are finding their grooves while putting up some big lines this past week. However, none bigger than Borah’s 2020 double-double machine Austin Bolt. Bolt recorded two monster games last week helping his team go 2-0 and stay undefeated on the season. In his team’s 66-54 win over Timberline, Bolt finished with 19 points and 16 rebounds. Bolt followed up the Timberline performance with a fantastic game against Mountain View, whom, took the Lions to the brink and nearly knocked them off in double overtime, but it was in large part Bolt who ultimately secured the victory. Bolt posted 18 points, 22 rebounds in the 64-61 slug fest.
Next up for Bolt and the Lions will be a home game as the Nampa Bulldogs will play at Borah, Thursday, January 11th. Congratulations to Austin Bolt, our Prep Hoops Idaho Player Of The Week (1/1-1/8).
