Vanden off to a Hot Start
Vanden High School (Fairfield, CA) has won the Solano County Athletic Conference for four straight years and is on pace to another banner this season. Vanden is off to a 5-0 start beating Vallejo, Fairfield, Benicia, and Jesse Bethel High Schools in convincing fashion. The 2018 season will be the last season for the conference as many teams will be entering new conferences and sections, and Vanden is looking to go undefeated.
The key to Vanden’s attack has been the play of senior guard Aaron Porcil, Sophomore guard Teiano Hardee, and their four transfers Jhaylon and Ra’shjon Martinez, Marquis Davison, and Johnathon Cobbs. Vanden’s offense is a pretty balanced attack which makes them so hard to defend and scout. Each player can get hot, and takeover the game. They play unselfish, are committed to doing whatever it takes to win. As much success as they are having right now, this Vanden team has four juniors, three sophomores, and one freshman, which makes them dangerous for years to come. Vanden will look to remain undefeated as they take on Vallejo High School at home on Wednesday.
