Now add in the fact that he is just a freshman and we have a player that could possibly be one that colleges will need to track. Well that is the case for this young man, in his latest game he went for 41 points vs Clover Garden in a blowout win.
North Buncombe Junior Forward Ren Dyer: 30 Points and 13 rebounds per night, let that sink in for a second folks. He is 6’3 averaging these numbers so clearly not only is he skilled but he’s also a very athletic player.
Greenfield School Senior Guard Coby White: He will be the All-Time leading scorer in the state of North Carolina before the season is over with. If you haven’t seen him yet then you need to go check him out as soon as possible. He’s averaging 30+ points per game and it’s not coming against any easy competition, just take a look: 41 & 46 on Garner HS this season, 46 against Kinston, 40 vs York Prep, 32 vs Broughton, the list goes on and on.
Ocracoke HS Senior Guard Liam Caswell: Liam is scoring 27 points a night and still does not have one single scholarship offer. At 6’5 with solid athletic ability and ball handling skills, he has many of the attributes that D2 programs will love. Colleges should really keep an eye on him for the remainder of the season and begin to make contact.
Avery County HS Senior Guard Deacon Heath: The UNCA commit is off to a great start this season putting up 27 points per game, he has a nice shooting form and moves well without the ball. At 6’0 he is a bit undersized or a college shooting guard but he has the skillset to move over and play some PG as well.
