These are individuals who are being recruited at a high level and will hold a strong impact for their teams this season. There are some names that could definitely be on this list, but came up short. Check out our Class of 2020 rankings to see the point guards that didn’t make it!
Jabe Mullins – Mt. Si, 6’4
Mullins can pretty much do it all for his team. He is a solid combo guard, that plays at a nice pace. He does a really good job at getting other involved and making sure his team is under control. He has a nice release on his jump shot, shooting pretty consistent. He is a nice floor general and can control the game.
Jalen Scott – Bellarmine Prep, 5’11
Scott is a smooth guard, always playing under control and making the right plays for his team. He has a nice touch on his shot, with a smooth pull up. He works pretty hard on both sides of the ball, being vocal on the defensive end. Scott plays with a lot of passion and continues to impress, he should be picking up some looks this season.
Maui Sze – Roosevelt, 5’10
Sze is a special talent. He has a great feel for the game and is very confident with his game overall. He shows quality leadership and uses on ball screens well. He has deep range from behind the arc, which puts pressure on defenders. He should lead Roosevelt to some wins this season.
Marcus Collins – West Seattle, 6’0
Collins plays more mature than most point guards his age, playing under control and doing whatever it takes for his team to compete at a high level. He’s a knock down shooter, with the ability to make moves off the dribble to create separation for his shot. He continues to improve and has a bright future at West Seattle.
Ryan Moffet – Odessa, 5’10
Moffet is coming off a huge freshman season, after averaging 28.8 points for Odessa. He looks to match that effort this season, with more experience and confidence. He has been working hard this off season and should turn a lot more heads with his high level scoring ability.
