The Class of 2018 in Northern California is loaded with talent such as James Akinjo, Jordan Brown, Elijah Hardy, Naseem Gaskin, and more. Those are some of the household names out of Nor-Cal, but there are more seniors that are under the radar that college coaches may want to keep an eye as the high school season continues.
The seniors on this list have received some interest but are still unsigned.

Quick and explosive guard who can also defend. Kyree played well over the summer as he played for Team Arsenal on the Adidas Circuit. He has received some division 2 interest.
Malik Ghiden SG 6’3′ – American Canyon High School
Solid combo guard who is very athletic and is an excellent slasher. Ghiden has improved his ball handling and shooting from the outside which has made him hard to defend this season.
Ben Baker SG 6’3′ – Berkeley High School
Ben has a high basketball IQ and is long and athletic. He can shoot from the outside and is an underrated defender. Ben has received some division 2 interest.
Jacob Long PG 6’1′ – Deer Valley High School
One of the best shooters in Northern California. Jacob has NBA shooting range, and is an underrated passer. His ball handling has improved which can allow him to be a good point guard at the college level.
Jacob Smith PG 5’9′ – El Cerrito High School
Jacob has a solid handle and does a good job on creating his own shot. He is a solid defender and has a high basketball IQ. He would be ideal at the division 2 level.

Anthony Thomas SF 6’4′ – Vallejo High School
Anthony is a very unique basketball player. He is 6’4′ and plays defense like he is 6’7′ as he can guard post players due to his length and jumping ability, and has the offensive ability of a solid wing. Anthony would be ideal as a national junior college player.
Dion Moore SG 6’2′ – Jesse Bethel High School
Dion is one of the few players in the Solano County area that thrives on the mid-range game. He has an excellent pull-up shot going both left and right, and is also a good athlete. Dion has received some interest from NAIA schools but no offers so far.
Josh Jefferson SF 6’5′ – Salesian High School
Josh is a role player on Salesian’s stacked team, however if he can find the right college program at the next level he can possibly turn into a really good college player. Josh has good size and a great overall feel for the game.
