SD Team Rankings: Week 7
PHD top ten rankings are updated in all classes as we start Week 7 tonight. All over the three classifications there was not a ton of shake-up. However there we some very exciting games and over the next month, expect lots of movement and teams separating themselves.

First of all the top spot: Sioux Falls Lincoln stays there even with two losses. Both of those are against out of state, top ten ranked teams in the highest classifications in larger states. Harrisburg and Rapid City Central stay unbeaten and probably have a case for #1 but I got to go with what I feels right, not just based on record. Brandon Valley has been hot lately and they jump to #5. Nipping on their heels is #6 Sioux Falls Washington who after a couple early season losses and a tough non-conefernce schedule is back at 5-5 and looking strong. Douglas makes their first appearance in the top ten at #10 as they hold a 7-3 record.
New to Poll (this weeks ranking): Douglas (10)
Leaving Poll (last weeks ranking): Sioux Falls Roosevelt (9)

Nothing new in the top three spots as those teams continue to win and look impressive. Sioux Valley moves up one spot to #4 and they, along with the top three, seem to have really separated themselves as the upper echelon of teams in Class A. No one new to the top ten which means no one left. Aberdeen Roncallli does fall to #9 after two losses, one of those losses coming at the hands of #7 Hamlin.

Not much new to see here, however Warner makes the largest leap up to #6 after a one point victory over Langford. Sully Buttes had a nice win over Class A Miller last week and everyone else continued to look strong and win games. As we get into more region games in the upcoming few weeks, there will be some real good matchup and big time swing games happening. Should be a fun month ahead!
