Wilson (Florence) (13-3)
Southeast Missouri State signee Alex Caldwell recently went over 1,000 career points. The Tigers have a 2 game lead in the region over Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach. The Tigers are looking to stay home in the friendly confines of Florence, SC. The Lower State Championship games are played at the Florence Center (Used to be Civic Center).
Greenville (17-1)
The Red Raiders are led by the trio of Wells Hoag, Quade Parks and Dorian Williams.
Aiken (18-1)
The Fighting Green Hornets moved to 18-1 on the season with a win over Cross Greek (GA) 65-51 recently. Plenty of talent here and still missing some key players.
Berkeley (Moncks Corner) (14-2)
Ephraim Butler (2018) is the leader of the Stags offense. The Stags have several other pieces in Ishawn White (2018)and Trevur Smalls (2019). The Stags have a big game still with region rival Colleton County.
Westwood (14-5)
Russell Jones (2019) is the one that makes the offense go here for Westwood.
AC Flora (15-5)
The Falcons are starting to click with Zach Foulks (2018) 17 ppg and Derrick Sinkler (2019) 15 ppg. The Falcons lead the region with the likes of Dreher, Lower Richland and Orangeburg-Wilkinson.
Ridge View (12-7)
Malcolm Wilson recently has thrown a few block parties for the Blazers. Wilson (2019) 6’11 center has recorded 17 blocks and 20 rebounds in the last two games. Crosby Harris-James (2019) is averaging 17.7 ppg and Walyn Napper (2019) 12.9 ppg.
Travelers Rest (14-5)
The Devildogs cracked the rankings this week. Graham Burton (2018) is averaging 14.9 ppg and Derrick Fields (2020) is chipping in 12.4 ppg and 5.2 rebounds a night.
North Augusta (13-6)
The Yellow Jackets are currently in 2nd place with South Aiken trying to chase down Aiken HS.
Orangeburg-Wilkinson (16-4)
The Bruins have a victory over Aiken earlier this season at the Moody Classic. Yohannes Utsey and Jordan Snell both seniors are leading the way for the Bruins.
