The Jaguars remain undefeated at 18-0 on the season. The strong play of Rashamel Butler (2019) leads the Jaguars offense at 18 ppg. The Jaguars are located just off Interstate-95 before you get into Georgia.
Southside (Greenville) (15-2)
The Tigers have won 7 in a row and play Powdersville HS tonight. The Tigers both losses this season have come in the Farm Bureau Classic at Dorman HS to 2 out of state teams. Tuzion Brock and Jamal Burke are looking to make a return trip to Columbia in early March and the Colonial Life Center.
The Monarchs hold onto the #3 slot from a week ago. Darius Williams leads the Monarchs at 12 ppg and Corey Graham (2021) is averaging 10.2 ppg and 7.2 rebounds this season.
The Lions remain as the 2nd team in the state behind Ridgeland-Hardeeville to be unbeaten. Travis Walters (2018) and Jahrique Isaiah (2019). Walters a undersized post player is averaging 18.7 ppg and 13.5 rebounds this season. Isaiah is a stat-sheet stuffer at 11.2 ppg, 4.5 rebounds, 7 assists and 5.9 steals this year.
The Cyclones have to play at Camden later this week.
The Dogs will host both Clinton and Chapman in region play this week. Newberry stands at 6-1 while Clinton and Chapman are both 5-2 in region play.
The Panthers will battle it out with Newberry and Clinton for region seedings in the weeks to come. Shaundre Miller is headed to Newberry (SC) NCAA D2 to play football next season.
Wade Hampton (Hampton) (10-4)
The Red Devils play Bluffton this evening and Ridgeland-Hardeeville later this week. Rashane Duncan (2018) 6’9 center scored 12 points while grabbing 10 rebounds and swatting away 10 shots in a win over May River HS 57-51.
The Bobcats play Ridgeland-Hardeeville once again on the schedule. Jermaine Patterson (2018) prepares to play Wade Hampton tonight in a crucial region game. Duncan and Patterson were AAU the past 3 summers on Upward Stars Southeast.
