The Bears defeated Johnsonville 63-23 last night behind Dijon Goss (2018) with 20 points. The Bears remain perfect in the region at 8-0.
Lee Central (Bishopville) (17-3)
Head Coach Laverne Knox has 499 career wins entering tonight’s game vs Central (Pageland). Amadric Mixon, Daequan Thomas and DaVeon Thomas have been the steady leaders all season for the Stallions. The Stallions are currently 9-0 in region play with a 3 game lead.
Keenan (15-5)
The Raiders are in 2nd place behind the Gray Collegiate War Eagles. The two teams have met already twice on the season with Gray Collegiate getting the best of the Raiders on both games. Dillon Jones, Raekwon Horton, Qua Sanders and Ervin Stone are some names to watch out for with the Raiders.
Calhoun County (14-3)
The Saints will play Silver Bluff tonight. Zam Fredrick is a deep range shooting guard who plays for his father.
North Charleston (14-2)
The Cougars lead the region with a 6-0 record. The Cougars play rival Burke HS tonight in the Port City. Darjawuan Brown (2020) has been on a terror as of late for the Cougars.
Silver Bluff (13-5)
The Bulldogs travel to Calhoun County to play the Saints tonight in St Matthews. Battle for 1st place in the region on the line. Jadakiss Wright, Jimmie Foreman and Latavian Lawrence will look to bring back a victory to Petticoat Junction tonight.
Marion (15-6)
The Swamp Foxes stand 2 games behind region foe Carvers Bay. BJ Blue (2018) is having a big senior season at 17 ppg.
Landrum (16-4)
The Cardinals are led by the dynamic duo of Trey Smith (2019) and Foster Bridges (2018) Smith currently is averaging 29 ppg and has scored 1,883 career points. Bridges a small forward is averaging 19.3 ppg and 5.8 rebounds. Bridges has scored 1,583 career points. Landrum is located on the North Carolina/South Carolina border north of Spartanburg.
