Recruiting Report: Manny Jingco (2018)
Manny Jingco is a Forest Lake Ranger and he’s leading a team that is 12-4 and has a shot at state. Manny talked to Prep Hoops today.
“Things are going good right now,” Manny said. “We’re 12-4 and playing good together.
“For me, I have been playing good. I had a little slump but I am doing good now. I am averaging almost 20 points.”
Jingco had 16 in a win over his old team (Stillwater) recently, had 30 against Woodbury earlier in the year, and had a season high 31 against Blaine.
“Compared to the last years I have developed a better jumper and increase my three point range,” Manny said.
“Forest Lake is new to me but our returning players are really good.”
The Rangers are a balanced team. Cooper Berg, John Schrader, Huner Damon, Thad Ball, and Steven Colon are all 9-11 point per game guys and then Jingco is the leader. A leader with big goals.
“I would like to be an all conference player and become better and stay an offensive and defensive player,” Jingco said. “As a team our goal is to go to state and go as far as we can.”
Four schools are talking to Jingco at the moment.
“University of Mary has had interest, I visited Bemidji State, I’ve visited Augsburg a couple times, and Mayville State is contacting me,” Jingco said.
