Recruiting Report: Chase Robinson (2019)
Class of 2019 wing Chase Robinson is a player that flies a bit under the radar for OPRF. The 6’2” shooting guard is at his best attacking off the bounce taking angles to get to the rim. When he gets rolling he is tough to stop. Also makes a decent amount of trips to the charity stripe. Worth monitoring at the D2 level.
Robinson talked about what he feels are his biggest assets as a player.
“My strengths are I feel defensively I am active on the floor. I have a pull up game and can shoot the three. Finishing attacking the rim.”
This past summer he played with Made Men 16U where he got his name on the map.
“It was a good circuit playing with my teammate Dashon (Enoch). I feel like Made Men taught me a lot.”
After his play with Made Men a couple colleges have started to track him.
“Dartmouth showed some interest during the summer. Northern Illinois also expressed interest.”
What will he be looking for in a college program?
“A good system that fits me and I fit the system. I like to get up and down.”
