The field is set for the MFL Oil Break Time Shootout, which will be held on Saturday at the Mizzou Arena on the campus of the University of Missouri in Columbia. The event features six games bringing some excellent teams in from around the state to Mid-Missouri. One of the featured games of the Shootout will be the Sikeston vs. Whitfield clash that will bring together two of the state’s top 2018 players in Torrence Watson of Whitfield (Mizzou signee) and Fred Thatch, Jr. (SLU signee) of Sikeston.

In the first game of the afternoon, Sacred Heart will take on Wellington-Napolean in a rematch of last year’s Class 2 state quarterfinals. Sacred Heart is currently ranked No. 1 in the Class 2 rankings.
