Palmetto State : 2019 Rankings
The Palmetto State 2019 Class is loaded from top to bottom. I first arrived in the Palmetto State back in the Fall 2004 and this is one of the deepest classes I can recall with talent.
Christian Brown holds down the #1 spot after not playing for almost the last month for the Lower Richland Diamond Hornets.
Josiah James is a very skilled guard who holds several offers from high majors has his Porter Gaud team on top of the SCISA ranks. James checks in at #2.
Juwan Gary recently picked up some offers from the University of South Carolina and UCONN. Gray recently went over 1,000 points at Gray Collegiate. Gray is #3 in the 2019 Class.
DJ Burns holds onto #4 while teammate Deuce Dean comes in at #6. The York Prep Patriots have also Dericko Williams #13 Williams arrived at the school via Kinston, NC this past fall.
Malcolm Wilson a protect the rim guy at Ridge View HS holds onto the #5 slot. Clemson, Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of South Carolina all have offered Wilson.
Trae Hannibal climbed into the Top 10 in the class at #7. Hannibal a ultra explosive point guard plays at Hartsville HS. Hannibal recently picked up a scholarship offer from Western Carolina University.
Charles “Tre” Jackson recently picked up a offer from Hofstra. Jackson played this past summer with Team South Carolina on the AAU circuit. Jackson teamed up with Russell Jones #16 and Traye Carson #33 in this back court.
Michel Dukes has picked up more football interest after the huge season on the ground for the First Baptist Hurricanes. Dukes went over 1,000 points earlier this season after leading the Hurricanes to another State Football Championship in SCISA 2-A. Dukes will have a decision to make in the future in what sport to play in college ?
Calvin Felder and Juwan Perdue both come in at #11 and #12 respectively in the 2019 Class. The Sumter, SC natives play at rival high schools Sumter HS and Lakewood HS.
