The MLK East Coast Jam Fest is another excellent event presented by the Basketball Group who specialize in showcasing under the radar players. This great event will be played at Archbishop Carroll HS in Washington, DC . 5 games will be payed with game 1 beginning at 12 pm

The Basketball Group is proud to present the inaugural MLK East Coast Jamfest held right here at the historic Archbishop Carroll High School in Northeast Washington, DC! This event was created to provide an opportunity for student athletes to compete on a national platform and to provide next level coaches another chance to observe the multi talented players from the historically rich recruiting soil that is referred to as the DMV! Coaches from every level will visit the building today and will view the games on our national broadcast. Each contest will provide HOT competition and sizzling showmanship. All sorts of school boy greats have competed on this hardwood and tonight’s contest will reveal the next group of unsung future stars of tomorrow. All games are being streamed live and each game is sanctioned by all participating states athletic governing organizations. This affair is being produced by The National Federation of High School Network and will be viewed by basketball fans from all over the United States. Our intent is to help connect an unsigned Senior or a Under the Radar student athlete with a scholarship on the next level. This upcoming affair is full of athletes who have shown promise this season and those who are no doubt hungry to establish themselves as legitimate next level collegiate basketball prospects. Additionally players committed to JUCOs, D3s, D2s and high major D1s will control the poetry in motion today on the hilltop. The list of national & local media, reporters, basketball writers, scouts & prognosticators covering this event will without a doubt pave a pathway for a few of these great young men to achieve their athletic and academic dreams!! And with that we at The Basketball Group will have provided a small portion of fuel that will help keep Dr. King’s Dream Alive. Bowie Bulldogs (5-3) vs. Carnarsie Chiefs (NY)

Bowie is led by a trio of guards excellent guards in 6’1″ 2018 PG #1  Isaiah Burke (left in photo) 2019  5’11″ CG sharpshooter #13 Jordan Harris & 6’1″ 2020 CG #5  Kyrie Freeman-Davis (right in photo) & 6’5″ 2019 F #0 Abdul Idowu. 5’11”, 2019 PG Jordan Mitchell s a key player off the bench.  Bowie plays in the Prince George’s County 4A & remains a top contender with Eleanor Roosevelt & Dr. Henry Wise.

Cesar Chavez Eagles vs Cristo Rey Panthers

Cesar Chavez is a member of the very tough DC Charter Conference. Head Coach Malcolm Battle  always has his Eagles ready to play  in their aggressive end to end style,, He does a great job mentoring his players on & off the court.6’2″ 2019 PG/CG #1  Lawrence Martin  averages 22 ppg for the Eagles. he plays with one highest motors in the DC DMV & he is an excellent college prospect receiving interest from Virginia State & Virginia Union. 5’10” 2018 PG #3 Warren Lofton runs the point for Chavez & he is a pass 1st PG.

2020 6’1″ G Lamont Tate 6’1″, 5’10” 2019 G #5 Khalel Tolan, 6’2″ 2020 G #4 Mesiah Brown, 6’3″ 2019 SF #12 Tyson Minor, & 6’6″ 2020 PF # 2 Deaonta Wallace are other players for Cesar  Chavez to watch.

St. James Saints vs Millwood Bobcats (VA)

St. James is a member of the very tough MAC Conference which consists of 7 teams, 3 located in Washington, DC (Georgetown Day, Maret & Sidwell Friends), 2 in Northern, VA (Flint Hill & Potomac School) & St. Andrews in Suburban, MD. St. James is from Hagerstown, MD, approximately 42 miles from Washington, DC. The Saints are currently 6-3 & have a key conference match up with 11-3 Maret on 1-12-18 in Hagerstown.

The Saints main payers are 6’9” 2018 F & Pitt commit #41 Bryce Golden, 6’5” 2018 SG/SF #10 Amir Harris (pictured) who has offers from Temple, Rhode Island, Davidson & Temple. 6’6” 2018 SF Anthony Harris, & 6’0” 2018 PG #5 Spenser Adams. Head Coach is Dan Petrie.

Woodrow Wilson is currently 13-8 & undefeated in the DCIAA. The Tigers play  key Wilson Payers are as follows:

6’8” 2018 W #23 Ricky Lindo, 6’8″, Wing, 2018. Ricky (pictured) is a fantastic  player & college prospect. He already holds 18 D1 offers which include 5 from the Ivy League in  Brown, Columbia, Harvard, Penn & Yale plus local GWU. Already a superb player, Ricky  still has a huge upside. 5’11” 2018 PG/CG #2 Ayinde Hikim Ayinde (pictured)  is one of the most explosive CGs in MD/DC & a superb athlete with excellent strength. He already holds a D1 offer from Quinnipiac. 6’4” 2019 CG #5 Jay Heath & 6’6” 2020 G #13 Dimingus Stevens are D1 players. 6’8” 2018 F/C #33 Josiah Marable is another key starter while 5;10” 2019 CG Carlos Dunn adds firepower off the bench.

The Red Storm is lead by 6’2” 2019 PG #0 Judah Jordan who holds offers from Penn State, Towson & Hampton with interest from Stanford, Florida St & Virginia. 6’11” 2019 C #21 Val Bina has offers from Xavier & East Carolina & interest from Georgetown, Tennessee & St. Johns. 6’2” 2018 SG #23 Keith Hickman has an offer from Chesapeake & interest from Marymount.
