Breakdown: This week is a fun one in the Indianapolis area. Tons of really good matchups and starting off strong as Cathedral and Indianapolis Howe take the court for the Indianapolis City Championship on Monday. Will be a must-see game against two teams that have already faced off this year with Cathedral taking the earlier matchup.
On Tuesday, Zionsville will need to get a big win over a tough program and Indianapolis Pike will give them that opportunity. However, Pike has been playing better lately and this is a team that has enough talent to turn it on at any time.
Wednesday gives us a Park Tudor and Cardinal Ritter matchup. Park Tudor has yet to really get going but this is a game they could use against a team they matchup with better than a lot of others on their schedule. Ritter needs to rebound from their loss to Indianapolis Manual.
Thursday, you get Lawrenceburg vs. Greensburg. Greensburg is the team everyone up here has heard about but Lawrenceburg has quietly put together a really good year but they have yet to get a marquee win. This is their chance.
Friday night you get a battle between two MIC teams, Carmel and Ben Davis. Carmel runs everything through their guards while Ben Davis runs everything through their forwards and wings. Will be an interesting battle for sure.
Saturday night, Carmel gets on the list against as they play host to New Castle. New Castle has yet to play that marquee game on the road. They won the Hall of Fame Classic but did so at home. This will likely be their toughest game of the season as it is on the road against a team that matches up very well with them.
