Monday Games
Enka at Reynolds-A primetime guard match-up between unsigned senior Isaiah Pruett of Reynolds HS going up against 2019 guard Jake Smith. Both guard have put up multiple games above 30 points and this should be a high scoring tango between two of the top teams in the Western Mountain Athletic Conference.
Erwin at West Henderson-Can Rashod Chaffin, a 2019 guard get The Warriors back on track against one of the top 2020 prospects in the mountains? Ben Bryson of West Henderson is the name we are talking about here. Son of former West Henderson & WCU standout Joey Bryson.
Tuesday Games
Reynolds at Asheville-Pruett and company travel to one of the oldest schools in North Carolina and take on a Cougar team that has all of the tools to compete for a top-3 finish in the Western Mountain Athletic conference.
West Henderson at North Henderson-A County rivalry will take place on Tuesday at North Henderson. The Knights are off to a great start and are looking for that third spot in the always tough conference. 2018 guard Ja’Kell Gossett has been having a strong season for North. Ben Bryson and Dalton Whitt will look to pick up a win to keep playoff hopes alive for West Henderson.
Enka at Roberson-Jake Smith, Josh Walton, Devin Bassett shouldn’t have much trouble with The Rams in Skyland on Tuesday. Jake Smith leads the charge again for Enka at 20+ points per game.
North Buncombe at Tuscola-In what was a blowout in the first meeting and 20 point first quarter from surefire all-state selection Ren Dyer this match-up should be a good one in Haywood County. Dyer is averaging 30 points and 13 rebounds per game and is going against 2019 6’7 big man Landon Henley who is averaging 24 and 12 per game. Lane Kervin will look to contribute big with his shooting touch and Tuscola will need to defend the hot shooting Chandler Brown for North Buncombe.
