Prep Hoops Idaho Player Of The Week (12/18-12/25) Is Skyview’s Cayden Wright
Prep Hoops Idaho is proud to continue our Player of the Week award for the 2017-2018 prep hoops season. Each Player of the Week candidate below has put up impressive stats during the past week in addition to being an integral member for their respective team.
Each week we highlight those who have stood out in what will be a season long tradition spotlighting the top producing prospects in the state of Idaho.
There was plenty of action this past week as teams competed in holiday tournaments which pitted some of the state’s top talents against formidable competition. The results were some impressive outings some of which made our list below. As the voting took place, three worthy players emerged with Cayden Wright edging out Daxton Carr and Jake Pfennigs.
All three players were certainly deserving as they all posted excellent numbers and had huge impacts on their respective teams this past week. However, it was Cayden Wright, a 6 foot guard for Skyview who has made this list in previous Player of the Week nominations that took home the honor. Wright’s big game helped Skyview get back to winning ways after a difficult one point loss to Columbia. Wright and his team showed resolve as he posted a stellar 20 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals line, thus earning him Prep Hoops Idaho’s Player of the Week honors.
