SCBCA Top 10 AAAA
The latest rankings are out for AAAA. Here we go with the Top 10
1.Wilson
The Tigers remain perfect on the young season with a victory over South Florence last night 64-52. Junior Allen Williamson scored 12 points, Darius Rhodes (2018) and Jamonty Williams (2018) both added 11 points. Alex Caldwell a Southeast Missouri State signee had 8 points and Coker College signee Ryan Carfley chipped in with 5 points. The Tigers play crosstown rival West Florence HS this coming Friday.
2. Aiken
The Hornets are off to a 5-0 start this season.
3.Lakewood
The Gators (4-1) defeated Manning HS last night 56-37. Grant Singleton (2018) led the charge with 17 points while Juwan Perdue (2019) added 11 points. Singleton was offered a scholarship by NCAA D2 St Thomas Aquinas (NY) after the game according to Assistant coach Matt Howlett. St Thomas Aquinas was in attendance last night.
4.Greenville
Wells Hoag is the leader of the Red Raiders squad. The Red Raiders defeated Hillcrest 55-43. JQ Jones is a promising freshman to watch.
5.Berkeley
The Stags 4-2 got back into the winning ways with a victory over Hanahan 61-46. Ephraim Butler (2018) and football standout DJ Chisholm both scored 14 points while Ishan White (2019) added 13 points in the win.
6.North Augusta
The Yellow Jackets move to 4-1 on the season. RJ Felton scored 19 points in a victory over Strom Thurmond last night. Omarion Byrd added 17 points, Dejuan Bell 14 points and Tez Collins 13 points.
7.Lower Richland
The Diamond Hornets recently lost to Gray Collegiate at the Bojangles Bash. Christian Brown (2019) and his new team are currently at 3-3 on the season.
8.Ridge View
The Blazers played some great competition but limped out of the Bojangles Bash at 2-4 on the season. The Blazers lost on Saturday to Cox Mill HS (NC) 68-48. Malcolm Wilson (2019) led the way with 16 points and Crosby Harris-James added 13 points.
9.Travelers Rest
The Devildogs defeated Carolina HS 75-65. The Devildogs travel to Berea HS on Friday night.
10.AC Flora
The Falcons lost a close one to Word of God (NC) at the Bojangles Bash 69-64. The Falcons 5-2 were led in scoring by Derrick Sinkler with 17 points, Zack Foulks 15 points and Diamante Brown 11 points.
