“I’ve been getting a lot of calls from coaches; Arkansas, LSU, Kansas State, Iowa State, Lafayette, Southern, South Alabama, Xavier out of New Orleans,” said Wilson.
Now Wilson is into his junior season with the with the Hornets, and after losing last year in the 2A finals, he’s got one goal: help his team get back to the finals, and win.
“This season started out good, we’re trying to get down to the state championship again,” said Wilson. “I’m going to try and get better, make me and my team better; that’s it.”
As for recruitment, he’s hoping to nab some high-major D1 offers over the next eight months, there’s three schools that are of particular interest to him.
“I’m just trying to get offers from the best schools in college basketball,” said Wilson. “One dream school is Duke, and then Kansas; and LSU, I wanted to play there when I was little.”
