Bojangles Bash

Cox Mill High School, Trinity Christian School and Word of God Christian Academy and North Meck HS are the North Carolina teams playing in Columbia, South Carolina this weekend in the Bojangles Bash being help at Ridge View High School. There could be a meeting of Cox Mill High School and North Mecklenburg High School in the finals, which would feature one of NC’s top 4-A teams squaring off against the reigning 3-A champs from North Carolina.

With the coaching change at East Carolina University, we have some updates on signees Mike Wynn and Jayden Gardner. I have spoke with Heritage High School head coach Tilden Brill and he said ” I don’t know what Jayden will do now,” regarding sticking with his commitment or not. A text message to Mike Wynn’s Liberty Height head coach was not returned. Gardner had 36 points and 19 rebounds last night in a win for Heritage High School. He has aa solid shot at landing on a high major program roster.
