Q&A With Justin Battle (2020)
Justin Battle is a talented sophomore at University High School of Ferndale. Recently we caught up to the 5-8 point guard/shooting guard.
Question: What are the three biggest strengths of your game?
Justin Battle: I’m a very competitive player, I’m a good shooter, and I love to play defense.
Question: What aspect of your game would you like to improve?
Justin Battle: Driving to the basket with my left hand.
Question: What is your best moment in high school basketball so far?
Justin Battle: 19 points and 8 assists in the first game.
Question: What high school team do you look forward to playing against?
Justin Battle: Old Redford High School.
Question: Who is the best player you have played against?
Justin Battle: Tavis Smith.
Question: Which gym in Michigan was your favorite to play in and why?
Justin Battle: University of Michigan. Because I love their courts and I love how it feels to play on a college court.
Question: Who is your favorite NBA player and why?
Justin Battle: Russell Westbrook because he’s a competitive player and people say I favor him a lot.
Question: What is your favorite NBA Team?
Justin Battle: Golden State Warriors.
Question: Which form of social media do you prefer?
Justin Battle: I prefer Twitter and I like Instagram too!
Question: What are your long term goals, both on and off the court?
Justin Battle: A long term goal on the court is that I really would love to make it to the NBA. And I want to major in Sports Management or Engineering in college. But first college I would want to go to is North Carolina or University of Kentucky and be one of the greatest players that ever walked this earth! I love playing basketball! I’ve been playing basketball since I was 5 years old. And I loved it ever since!
